Basic Information:

  • Call forward busy/no answer and message waiting indicator.
  • Maximum mailbox time - 20 minutes.
  • Maximum number of messages - 20.
  • Maximum message length - 120 seconds.
  • 7 day retention of messages.
  • Message notification - can notify you of a message through a telephone or a pager.
  • Auto Login. No need to enter your passcode when checking messages from home (this feature can be disabled in the mailbox setup menu).
  • Urgent message marking.
  • Ring Control - Select the number of rings before forwarding to voicemail.

Getting Started:

  1. Call customer service to have voicemail set up on your Execulink telephone line.
  2. Dial *98 from your home number to access your voice mail box.
  3. Follow the instructions to record your personal greeting and establish a personal security code.
  4. Your voicemail voice mail is now set up. When someone calls and you are unable to answer the phone, or you are already on the phone, talking, faxing, or on the Internet, the caller will be able to leave you a message.

Retrieving Your Messages:

  1. When someone has left you a message, the "message waiting" light will light up or flash (depending on your phone). If you do not have a phone with a message waiting light, when you pick up the phone there will be a "stutter" dial tone.
  2. To retrieve the messages from your home telephone, dial *98 and follow the prompts for retrieving your messages.

Note: Additional Instructions can be found in our Voicemail User Guide (requires Adobe Reader).

Note: You can hang up at any time while listening to your messages and your messages will not be deleted. Messages are only deleted when you manually delete them, by pressing 3 during or after message playback. Saved messages are retained for seven days.
